6 years agoWashington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin posted two goals on three shots with a minor penalty in Monday's 3-2 road victory against the Los Angeles Kings. It was his 10th multi-goal performance of the season, and he leads the National Hockey League with 42 goals. He also has a goal in three straight outings, and he has posted five goals and 12 points across the past eight contests. Ovechkin is on pace for 57 goals, which would be the second-highest total of his career. He'll look to stay hot in Thursday's road game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.--Daniel Dobish
