6 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Semyon Varlamov allowed one goal on 27 shots in Wednesday's 7-1 victory against the Winnipeg Jets. He inched over the .500 mark, pushing his record to 16-15-8 with a 2.79 goals-against average and .911 save percentage. He has managed a 3-3-3 record, 2.67 GAA and .919 save percentage since the All-Star break, too, as he is slowly starting to put it back together after a dismal December and an uneven month of January. The Avalanche are back in action on Friday trying to slow down the buzzsaw Blackhawks offense.--Daniel Dobish
