6 years agoThe New Jersey Devils traded defenseman Ben Lovejoy to the Dallas Stars on Saturday for defenseman Connor Carrick and a third-round draft pick, They also made center Marcus Johansson a healthy scratch for the matinee game against the New York Rangers, protecting the potential trade chip from any injury ahead of Monday's NHL trade deadline. Johansson has registered 12 goals and 27 points through 48 games, but he has a dismal minus-15 rating. If he is dealt to a contender and can turn that plus/minus rating around, he might be a decent low-end pivot in deeper fantasy pools down the stretch.--Daniel Dobish
