6 years agoThe New York Rangers traded right wing Mats Zuccarello to the Dallas Stars on Saturday night for a conditional second-round pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and a conditional third-round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. General manager Dave Nill was certainly pleased with the addition. "Mats is a legitimate top-six forward in this league who possesses a high level of speed, skill, compete and grit. He will enhance our team in a number of ways," Nill said. Zuccarello managed 11 goals with 37 points and a minus-11 rating in 46 games for the Rangers this season. He is projected to finish with 55 points, and his plus/minus rating should improve with the move to the Metroplex.--Daniel Dobish
