6 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews registered a power-play goal while adding an assist with five shots on goal, two blocked shots and two hits over 16:28 of ice time across 23 shifts in Saturday's 6-3 victory against the Montreal Canadiens. He has managed 10 goals in 10 career games against the Habs. He'll get a crack at the Canadiens one more time on April 6 during the regular-season finale. He has managed eight goals and 14 points across 12 games since the All-Star break with three power-play goals and an assist on the man advantage.--Daniel Dobish
