6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Robbie Ray allowed just one hit with two walks and two strikeouts over 1 1/3 innings in his Cactus League spring debut against the Cleveland Indians on Sunday. Ray saw a decline in velocity and effectiveness last season, and he struggled to go very deep into games. He missed a good chunk of the season due to a strained oblique, and it took time for him to get back up to speed. Ray is penciled in as the No. 2 starter for the Snakes, and therefore he shouldn't last longer than Round 10 in most mixed leagues. He posted 218 strikeouts in both 2016 and 2017, and he is still just 27 years old. If you like strikeouts, Ray is your man.--Daniel Dobish
