6 years agoNew Jersey Devils defenseman Connor Carrick registered a pair of assists with a plus-2 rating and three blocked shots over 18:00 of ice time across 23 shifts in his team debut on Monday against the Montreal Canadiens. Carrick was swapped for defenseman Ben Lovejoy, as the latter went to Dallas. The Illinois native certainly endeared himself to his new teammates in this one. He had managed just one goal and four points with a minus-7 rating in 14 games with the Stars before the trade. His fantasy appeal remains limited to the deepest of fantasy pools at this point.--Daniel Dobish
