6 years agoSan Jose Sharks left wing Gustav Nyquist will suit up on the third line with Joe Thornton and Kevin Labanc in Tuesday's matchup against the Boston Bruins. Nyquist was acquired early Monday morning in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings. The Swedish winger has had a solid season to date, posting 16 goals, 33 assists, and 11 power-play points through 62 games. He has gone from a team that sits 24th in the league in goals per game (2.78), to a team that has scored the second-most goals in the NHL (228). Nyquist will also see time on the second power-play unit. Although Dylan Larkin was a reliable linemate, Nyquist is in a much better fantasy situation with the Sharks. He is a promising LW3 for the remainder of the season.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
