6 years agoToronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen allowed two goals on 36 shots in Wednesday's 6-2 victory against the Edmonton Oilers. He picked up his 30th victory of the season, improving to 30-13-3 with a 2.59 goals-against average and .923 save percentage, including a solid 2.42 GAA and .927 save percentage in 23 starts at home. He is expected to take a backseat against the New York Islanders on Thursday, as Garret Sparks gets a crack at the Isles. At least that's the projected order, as nothing has been confirmed by head coach Mike Babcock yet.--Daniel Dobish
