6 years agoTampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov posted three assists with a plus-1 rating, three shots on goal and three hits over 20:19 of ice time across 20 shifts in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win against the New York Rangers. Kucherov now has an NHL-best 74 helpers, and he has managed eight goals with 23 points with a plus-7 rating across the past nine outings. He has two power-play goals and 11 points on the man advantage during the impressive run. His 104 points surpassed Martin St. Louis for second-most points in a season in team history, and he needs just five points to get past Vincent Lecavalier (108). He'll look to stay hot Thursday in Boston in a battle between the top two teams in the Atlanta Division.--Daniel Dobish
