Rangers Acquire Zack Granite From The Twins
6 years agoThe Texas Rangers acquired outfielder Zack Granite from the Minnesota Twins on Sunday for minor-league pitcher Xavier Moore and cash. He was designated for assignment by Minnesota last week after the team signed veteran infielder Marwin Gonzalez. Granite will be added to the team's 40-man roster after outfielder Scott Heineman was placed on the 60-day injured list. Granite has managed .282 average with a .348 on-base percentage in the minors, and he played 40 games with Minnesota in 2017. He'll give the team organizational depth, and isn't likely to break camp with the team, so for now he can be avoided in all fantasy formats.
