6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielders Shin-Soo Choo (shoulder) and Hunter Pence (shoulder) are dealing with minor injuries, but they're each expected to be fine soon. Choo was sent home to Texas last week to receive an anti-inflammatory shot in his left shoulder. He was able to play in Sunday's Cactus League spring game, and he should be ready to play in consecutive spring games soon. Meanwhile, manager Chris Woodward said Pence is battling a sore right shoulder, and he has been limited to designated hitter duties as a recent. Pence should be able to return to the outfield within a week. Choo is still a Top 25 fantasy outfielder in AL-only leagues, while Pence is simply a late-round pick in deeper formats as he looks to extend his career.--Daniel Dobish
