6 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter/outfielder Khris Davis (calf) was able to take more at-bats at the team's minor-league camp on Sunday. He is making his way back from a strained left calf, and might be able to start playing in Cactus League spring games later this week. Davis has been one of the most consistent power hitters in the game, posting a career-best 48 bombs in 2018 while also setting a new high with a .874 OPS. Speaking of consistency, he has hit exactly .247 in each of the past four seasons. Fantasy owners might not like that in 5x5 leagues, but his power numbers more than make him an attractive option. He'll go off the board near the end of Round 2, or the beginning of Round 3, in mixed fantasy play.--Daniel Dobish
