6 years agoWinnipeg Jets All-Star right wing Blake Wheeler picked up a goal with an assist across 17:15 of ice time across 20 shifts in Friday's 8-1 road rout against the Carolina Hurricanes. Wheeler has scored in four straight outings, posting seven goals and 10 points with a plus-5 rating in the month of March. He also has seven goals and 15 points during his eight-game point streak. He'll look to keep the impressive point streak going Sunday in Washington. He had a power-play assist in the first meeting against the Caps in Winnipeg back on Nov. 14.--Daniel Dobish
