6 years agoColorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon registered a goal with two assists and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-0 victory against the Buffalo Sabres. Right wing Mikko Rantanen scored a power-play goal while adding a blocked shot and a minor penalty. The cash line was split up by the injury to Gabriel Landeskog (upper body), who will miss four to six weeks. In practice on Friday, Rantanen skated on the second line with Carl Soderberg and Craig Wilson, while MacKinnon had Derick Brassard and J.T. Compher as his linemates.--Daniel Dobish
