6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek allowed three goals on 34 shots in Saturday's 5-3 road victory against the Nashville Predators. He was able to improve to 17-12-3 with a 2.61 goals-against average and .904 save percentage. The play of Mrazek and Curtis McElhinney has helped the Hurricanes stay right in the playoff race in the Eastern Conference, more than answering the question if the team had enough goaltending to go along with their young, up-and-coming offense. The Hurricanes are back in action Monday night in Colorado.--Daniel Dobish
