6 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Martin Truex Jr. snuck into the second spot late in the TicketGuardian 500 at ISM Raceway on Sunday, making a late pass on Penske Racing's Ryan Blaney. No one was catching Kyle Busch, however, as he surged to his 199th career victory between Trucks, Xfinity and Cup series races. The circuit heads to Auto Club Speedway in California next week where he has had some uneven results. Truex has a victory in 18 career starts at Auto Club in a Cup car, but he has just five top-5 and six top-10 finishes with a marginal 18.2 Average-Finish Position.--Daniel Dobish
