6 years agoDetroit Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard allowed six goals on 43 shots in Sunday's 6-1 road loss against the Florida Panthers. Two of the goals Howard allowed were on the power play, and he received very little help from his defense, while his offense was able to muster just one power play goal and a meager 20 shots. Such is life as the backstop for the non-contending Red Wings. Howard and his fantasy owners will hope for a little more help on Tuesday night on the road against the New York Rangers.--Daniel Dobish
