Landon Collins Lands Lucrative Deal With Redskins
6 years agoFree-agent safety Landon Collins agreed to terms on a six-year contract worth $48 million with the Washington Redskins on Monday. The 25-year-old tackle machine has averaged 109.3 total stops over his first four NFL campaigns with the New York Giants. He also has registered four sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, eight interceptions and a defensive score while averaging eight passes defensed per season. His addition helps a Washington pass defense which allowed 237.1 yards per game and 27 touchdowns with 52 pass plays of 20 or more yards. The Redskins DST are still a borderline low-end No. 1 or No. 2 fantasy unit heading into 2019.
