6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (elbow, hip) is scheduled to play three innings in the field in a minor-league spring game on Thursday, manager Dave Roberts said. Seager hasn't played shortstop in a Major League game since last April before his reconstructive elbow surgery. It appears he is rounding the corner, and Roberts said earlier in the week that Seager is expected to be ready for Opening Day. He is still relatively young and has a tremendous skillset. If he is healthy, or anything close to it, Seager is a solid mixed fantasy play.--Daniel Dobish
