Velocity Up For Zack Greinke In Latest Outing
6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zack Greinke allowed just one hit with one walk and six strikeouts over 4 2/3 scoreless innings in his Cactus League spring start against the Texas Rangers while the velocity of his fastball topped out at 91 mph. "I don't know what it was exactly," Greinke said. "But the swings on my fastball were not great, so I felt good about that. Location was great, everything felt really good." The 35-year-old has averaged 16 victories over the past two seasons after a disappointing 2016 season, and he has a solid 3.20 ERA and 1.08 WHIP during the two-year span. He remains a top of the line fantasy option in most formats until further notice.
