Nicholas Castellanos Scratched From Thursday's Lineup
6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Nicholas Castellanos (hand) was slated to start on Thursday after missing the team's last game against Boston. Castellanos was hit by a pitch on Sunday against the Yankees and has been on the mend since, but apparently was not well enough to play Thursday. Manager Ron Gardenhire indicated that Castellanos will take batting practice on Friday, but that the team will not rush the slugger, who is also the team's top trade chip this season.
