Jakob Silfverberg Sends Fans Home Happy
6 years agoAnaheim Ducks left wing Jakob Silfverberg registered his team-leading 22nd goal with 4:43 left in regulation on Sunday against the Florida Panthers, and it stood up as the game-winning tally. It was also his sixth goal since receiving a $26.5 million contract extension a couple of weeks ago. "He wants to be productive every night," assistant coach Marty Wilford said. "He's a competitive guy. He has a lot of pride, a lot of passion. You wish everyone could be like him." The Ducks are back in action Wednesday against the Winnipeg Jets to kick off a three-game work week.
