6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) will begin the regular season on the 10-day injured list, manager Dave Roberts confirmed on Tuesday. Fantasy owners shouldn't panic just yet, however. The 30-year-old left-hander will face hitters on Wednesday, and the skipper confirmed Kershaw will not pitch in the Freeway Series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. As such, the team could backdate the move, shuffle him to the back of the rotation to start, and it's conceivable he might not technically miss a turn in the rotation. Still, fantasy owners will likely want to keep him reserved until he can officially return and prove his health in a full start without any setbacks.--Daniel Dobish
