6 years agoOakland Athletics third baseman Matt Chapman opened with a strong performance in Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners in Tokyo. He racked up a double with a three-run homer off of M's reliever Nick Rumbelow, finishing 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. The hot corner man had a breakout season with a .278 average, 24 homers and 68 RBI while posting a .356 on-base percentage while also doing it defensively, too. The 25-year-old Golden State native is just scratching the surface. If you're a fantasy owner, enjoy the ride.--Daniel Dobish
