Brian Anderson Continues To Be Top Sleeper Candidate
6 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson finished spring training with a .354 batting average, six runs, nine RBI and two home runs in 48 at-bats. He had a promising spring training after finishing last year with not only an impressive .273/.357/.400 batting line but with 87 runs and 65 RBI in his first full season in the majors. While the Marlins subpar lineup and stadium conditions will limit how valuable Anderson will actually be this year, his current 24% own rate on Yahoo and current draft position could make him a potential late-round steal going into his sophomore season. He's worth a pickup in deeper formats and shallow league owners should definitely keep an eye on him.
