6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price will toe the rubber for one more spring appearance on Tuesday against the Cubs. Price hasn't pitched in a spring training game since March 12 after coming down with a norovirus; however, he has thrown bullpens on the side. How Price feels on Tuesday will determine if and when Price will face off against the Mariners in the opening series this weekend. Manager Alex Cora said, "If he feels like pitching one inning [Tuesday] is enough, that means he’ll probably pitch in Seattle." The southpaw is now 33 but is a critical part of the Sox' rotation. If he stays healthy, Price is good for 30-plus starts, making him a solid option in mixed leagues.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
