DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/29/19): NBA DFS Lineups

draymond green NBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball advice

The 2018-19 NBA season is officially winding down with just two Friday's remaining on the schedule. There are just six games on tonight's slate. Seven of the 12 squads in action are currently playoff bound. The Charlotte Hornets are one of two Eastern Conference  teams that still has an outside chance of becoming one of the top eight teams in the despite being outside the playoffs as we currently speak. The Hornets are 10th in the conference, although they are just one-and-a-half games behind the Heat with six games left. Charlotte, which has won four straight games, is in Los Angeles to take on the Lakers tonight.

While the Hornets-Lakers matchup has some playoff implications, there are three games on the docket that are far more intriguing as they have more immediate implications. The first of this trio of contests is the Pacers at the Celtics (7 p.m.). Neither team has played well recently, and the teams are separated by only one game in the standings as the squads are battling for fourth place in the conference. The Warriors-Timberwolves (8 p.m.) and Nuggets-Thunder (8 p.m.) are the other two intriguing matchups. The Warriors, who have won two straight and seven of 10, will look to create a little more space between them and the Nuggets, who are coming off a 112-85 shellacking at the hands of the Rockets on Thursday. Denver is sitting a game behind Golden State in the battle for the best record in the Western Conference.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Jamal Murray: PG/SG @OKC ($5,900)

I really like Ricky Rubio in the point guard spot but Murray has more potential for a big night. Plus, this is the cheapest that the 22-year-old has been in at least over the last 10 games.

Murray is coming off a solid performance against Houston on Thursday, tallying 20 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 26 minutes. He didn't commit a turnover and made seven of 14 shots from the field. The third-year pro has scored 53 points over the last two games after not reaching the 20-point plateau in his previous six outings. Murray has also doled out five or more assists in three of his last four games while recording six steals during this stretch.

Dwayne Bacon: SG/SF @LAL ($4,300)

Bacon is a cheap play here and he could pay big dividends for DFS owners. The second-year wing has played better since the all-star break and has really stepped up his production since being inserted in the starting lineup four games ago.

The former Florida State star is coming off a career-best 24-point performance against the Spurs on Tuesday as the 23-year-old made nine of 16 shots from the field, including four of seven from beyond the arc. He also added six rebounds, one assist, one block, and three steals. It was the second straight game that Bacon has topped the 20-point mark.

Bacon has scored in double-figures in three of his last four outings. He is averaging 14.8 points along with 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 three-pointers, 2.3 assists, and one steal while shooting 43.8 percent from the field as well as 62.5 percent from long-distance.

 DraftKings DFS Forwards

Jayson Tatum: SF/PF vs. IND ($5,700)

Paul George (shoulder) is the best play at small forward, but he is questionable for the game against the Nuggets. Jabari Parker and Joe Ingles are also solid options, although both players are inconsistent.

So, I basically decided to choose another mid-level option, I chose Jayson Tatum, however, I also really like Miles Bridges. Tatum is coming off one of his best performances since the all-star break. The 21-year-old forward scored 21 points against the Cavaliers (Tuesday), marking the first time that he has topped the 20-point mark since March 6, on 9-for-17 shooting from the field and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. He also grabbed five rebounds and dished out four assists.

Tatum has played pretty decently against the Pacers this year. The second-year pro is averaging 17.6 points, 5.5 caroms, 1.5 assists, three trifectas, and 1.1 steals while shooting 53.8 percent from the field as well as 46.2 percent from long distance.

Draymond Green: PF/C vs. MIN ($5,700)

Green is having his worst season in the past five years. The 29-year-old is currently at a good price as  he has struggled this season, Green still does enough of the little things to have a high floor. The 29-year-old also has played well against the Timberwolves this year, producing seven points as well as 9.7 rebounds, nine assists and 2.7 blocks in three games this year.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Dewayne Dedmon: PF/C vs. POR ($5,600)

The 29-year-old has rebounded the ball really well this month. He has played well overall recently as well. Dedmon has scored in double-figures in each of his last three outings and four of his last five. The 7-footer also has grabbed seven or more rebounds in six consecutive games.

Karl-Anthony Towns, Nikola Jokic, Rudy Gobert, and DeMarcus Cousins are the top plays here.
