6 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Omar Narvaez launched a solo homer off of Red Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi in Friday's contest. It was the first of the year for the backstop as he finished the night going 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Narvaez is in line for the lion's share of playing time behind the dish for the Mariners and could provide some surprising value this season. He's a player to watch in single-catcher mixed leagues as he can provide a solid batting average with some additional pop to go with it.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
