6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez went five scoreless innings, allowing three hits during a 3-0 win over the Detroit Tigers. He struck out six batters while walking three. It was a solid debut for the right-hander and is hopefully a sign of things to come. Sanchez was a stalwart in the 2016 season, posting a 15-2 record to go along with an AL-leading 3.00 ERA. Since then, it has been a different story for the 26-year-old as injuries have limited him to just 141 innings over the past two years. Sanchez is a solid buy-low candidate as long as he can maintain a clean bill of health. That may be easier said than done, but if Saturday's performance was any indication, he is worthy of a pickup heading into his next start against the banged-up Cleveland Indians.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
