Julio Urias On Pitch Count On Monday
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias makes his season debut on Monday against the San Francisco Giants. According to manager Dave Roberts, Urias will likely throw between 75 and 85 pitches if all goes well in the outing. The Dodgers are being safe with their 22-year-old southpaw after he underwent shoulder surgery in 2017. After recovering, he made three relief appearances at the back end of 2018, pitching four innings without allowing a run. His biggest sample size to date was 2016 when he went 5-2 with a 3.39 ERA over 77 innings, including 15 starts. He has decent DFS appeal in Monday's late slate despite being limited, as he has a 3.33 ERA and .304 wOBA over 54 innings pitched at home.
