6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Colin Moran went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and three RBI in Monday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Cardinals. Moran also walked twice. Starting in place of Jung Ho Kang, Moran sparked the Pittsburgh offense, putting them up 3-0 in the first, before breaking a 4-4 tie with his solo shot in the eighth inning. Moran will likely be on the short side of the playing time at third base, but performances like these will earn him more playing time moving forward. He is not someone to add just yet, but his playing time is worth monitoring.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
