6 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Los Angeles Angels. No reason was given for his removal, but he will be replaced by left-handed hitting Daniel Vogelbach, who will bat eighth. Vogelbach is hitless in just seven at-bats this season, but he hit four home runs in 37 games last year. He will face righty Trevor Cahill, who is 0-1 this season. Lefties have hit .261 with a .417 slugging percentage against Cahill over his career. Make sure to get Encarnacion out of your lineups but don't consider Vogelbach as a replacement in DFS unless you're in an absolute pinch for the late slate of games.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
