Tim Anderson Placed On Paternity Leave
6 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson has been placed on paternity leave. Anderson was scratched from the White Sox lineup on Monday after his wife went into labor. He flew back to Chicago to be with her and will likely miss the next couple of games. Infielder Yolmer Sanchez has shifted from second base to shortstop on Wednesday and will bat ninth. Sanchez faces Corey Kluber on Wednesday and could be avoided is all formats for now. Pitcher Jose Ruiz will take the spot of Anderson until he returns.
