6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer has been one of the most consistent hitters in the Astros lineup six games into the season. Springer has hits in five of the first six and is slugging .565 through 23 at-bats. The 29-year-old is an X-factor at the top of the Houston lineup, providing power and spark from the leadoff spot. Springer's power numbers took a serious hit last season but has begun the season fully healthy. Springer will face the Rangers starter, left-hander Mike Minor, on Wednesday and Springer posted a .475 slugging percentage against left-handed pitching last season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
