Eduardo Rodriguez Serves Up A Clunker In Oakland
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez lasted just 3 2/3 innings while allowing six runs on eight hits, fanning only two and walking three in a 7-3 loss to Oakland. Rodriguez is off to a rough start with the rest of the Boston rotation. A 12.38 ERA over eight innings with just seven strikeouts and six walks is a rough stat line after he won 13 games last season to go with a 3.82 ERA. Boston has two days off next week, so Rodriguez will likely find himself back on the hill against the Orioles next weekend. He has some big steps to take to get back to where the Sox need him to be, so definitely proceed with caution for his next start.
