6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Kevin Gausman was stellar on Friday afternoon, tossing seven shutout innings during a 4-0 win over the Miami Marlins. He allowed two hits, two walks and struck out seven batters. Gausman posted a 5-3 record with a 2.87 ERA and 1.14 WHIP for the Braves in 2018 after being acquired in a midseason trade. The 28-year-old missed part of spring training with a shoulder issue, but he is now good to go for the foreseeable future.
