ANALYSIS: Volume is a huge factor when determining a player's fantasy value, and for Adam Frazier, he will get plenty of it in 2019. Batting leadoff for the Pirates this season, Frazier is in a tremendous spot to amass some attractive numbers as he'll get plenty of opportunities to get on base, score runs, and steal bases. In six games so far this season, Frazier has already swiped two bags as he looks to break out in this category. His career high is nine thefts which came in 454 plate appearances, but with over 600 at-bats under his belt this year, a 15-steal season is more than feasible. You're not going to find many double-digit stolen base options on your waiver wire, especially ones who will benefit you in other categories.

Frazier is a career .281 hitter with a .346 on-base percentage. What's not to like about that? With these numbers, it's highly unlikely he'll get supplanted as the Pirates leadoff hitter, and we know he'll reach base substantially for the likes of Starling Marte and Corey Dickerson to drive him in. The 27-year-old's lifetime 14.1% K-rate and 8.0% BB% play superbly in points leagues as well, not to mention the immense value of having dual position eligibility. Frazier doesn't have much of a power stroke, but after hitting a career-high 10 homers in 352 PA last season, a number equaling his steals total is legitimate in 2019. We're looking at a 15/15 player who bats .280 and will score at least 80 runs as a conservative projection. Only five players met all of these totals in 2018 making Frazier a waiver wire gem and a reliable difference-maker for your fantasy squad.
