Justin Smoak Scratched From Sunday's Lineup
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays designated hitter Justin Smoak (neck) has been scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Cleveland Indians. Originally slotted into the three-spot, he will be replaced by Teoscar Hernandez, who will fat fifth. Smoak was scratched from Friday's lineup before returning to play Saturday, going 1-for-5. On Sunday, Randal Grichuk and Rowdy Tellez both move up a spot to bat third and fourth, followed by Hernandez. The 26-year-old Hernandez is hitting just .212 with three runs batted in over 10 games this year. Facing Cleveland starter Mike Clevinger, Hernandez doesn't hold much DFS value.
