6 years agoSeattle Mariners fans can breathe a sigh of relief with their new stud shortstop Tim Beckham. He left Sunday's game in the fifth inning with tightness in his hamstring, but he stated that it "wasn't a big deal." The M's will travel to Kansas City to take on the Royals starting Monday night, and Beckham expects to be out there in the starting lineup. The club would be wise to give a day of rest to their hot-hitting bat, as they don't have a scheduled off day until April 22, but it's encouraging that this appears to be nothing serious. This situation is worth monitoring before setting your weekly lineup, but Beckham shouldn't miss anything more than a game.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
