6 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve went 3-for-4, including a game-winning walk with the bases loaded, in the Astros 9-8 comeback win over the A's. Altuve reached base five times, scored two runs and played perhaps his best offensive game of the season. It has been a slow start for the former MVP, but he now has three multi-hit games under his belt over his past four played. His performance over the weekend has raised his batting average up to .282 after beginning the season with only four hits in his first 23 at-bats.
