6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is absent from Tuesday's lineup against Dakota Hudson and the St. Louis Cardinals. The 24-year-old has a .250/.375/.375 slash line with one home run and five RBI through 48 plate appearances in 2019. In his absence, Chris Taylor will start at shortstop and bat seventh. Taylor is the Dodgers premier utility bat, as he can play almost anywhere on the field. Taylor has started slowly this season with a .120 average and two RBI through 25 at-bats. On that note, the Dodgers lineup has been on fire and Taylor will benefit from that exposure on Tuesday night.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
