6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Marco Gonzales continued his strong start to the 2019 season on Tuesday. He went six-plus innings, giving up two earned runs on six hits as he struck out five while walking a pair of batters. With the victory, Gonzales improves to 4-0 on the young season and has proven to be one of the league's early surprises. The southpaw will look to keep his fortunes rolling in his next matchup Sunday in Houston against the Astros. Gonzales had a tough time with the Astros in 2018 with a 12.91 ERA in 7 1/3 innings, but he is worth firing up regardless of his small sample size against them.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
