Nathan Eovaldi Hoping To Change Narrative Surrounding Red Sox
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi will start at home Thursday against Toronto. Through two outings, the 29-year-old has made it through 10 innings, allowing nine earned runs, including tossing up four home runs. He's getting hit hard around the park, allowing an average exit velocity of 91.3 mph. With six walks and strikeouts apiece, Eovaldi has been just as bad as almost every other starter in the Sox's rotation. The Blue Jays matchup is a good place to buck the trend and get the Red Sox back on the winning path. However, it's difficult to trust him in DFS until he proves he can keep the ball in the yard and limit walks.
