6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on just three hits while striking out eight and walking none Friday in a 6-4 win over Baltimore. At the 14th game of the season, Rodriguez is the first Boston starter to pitch into the seventh inning of a game. Red Sox fans and fantasy owners alike are hopeful that this is a sign of things to come for the team's rotation. If the team continues with their rotation schedule, Rodriguez will get six full days of rest before his next start at Tampa Bay on Friday.
