6 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant is getting the day off on Saturday against Chris Stratton and the Los Angeles Angels. David Bote will start at the hot corner and bat eighth with Bryant's absence. Bote was 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Friday's 5-1 win over the Angels. The 26-year-old has produced a .304/.385/.522 slash line with four RBI through 23 at-bats in 2019. While he has played well in limited appearances, he can be left on the waiver wire and ignored for DFS purposes in Saturday's outing.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
