6 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz will bat third on Saturday against Tyson Ross and the Detroit Tigers. Cruz has not been in the starting lineup since April 3 as the Twins were on a National League road trip. The 38-year-old slugger is carrying a .316 average with one home run and six RBI through 19 at-bats. Cruz is an elite run producer, even at his age, and should be in the everyday lineup as long as the Twins are playing in an American League park.
