6 years agoTexas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor (knee) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Saturday afternoon with a right knee sprain. Odor was a late scratch for Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics and the injury is worse than originally thought. He has a .167 average with just two RBI through his first 42 at-bats. With the 25-year-old out for at least the next two weeks, Danny Santana has been called up to the active roster. He is a lifetime .256 hitter that has limited fantasy appeal and will bat seventh during Saturday's contest. If Santana is able to carve out a regular role with Odor sidelined, his mix of power and speed may make him an option in deep AL-only formats.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
