6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Domingo Santana picked up a run and an RBI in Monday's loss against the Indians. He finished 3-for-4 on the night and is now batting a sizzling .354 with four homers and a league-leading 24 RBI. Santana has maintained a terrific pace since his Opening Day grand slam in Japan nearly a month ago and is flourishing in his full-time role. Santana has cut his swinging-strike rate nearly in half since his disappointing 2018 campaign and is currently on pace to set a new personal best in strikeout rate at 22.5 percent. It's been a huge improvement for the 26-year-old, and this should help him maintain a solid batting average while still keeping his power numbers intact.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
