Ji-Man Choi Has A Big Day
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi went 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs scored, one RBI and two walks on Wednesday against the Orioles. This was Choi's first dinger of the season. He's flown a bit under the radar so far, slashing .293/.373/.453 through 16 games. Luck hasn't quite gone his way in terms of counting stats (seven runs and six RBI), considering he is typically hitting in the three spot on the 14-4 Rays. At seven percent ownership in Yahoo leagues, he is still only a streamer in weak matchups. However, it would be wise to expect some better run and RBI production in the future. For now, he is only worth a roster spot in deep leagues.
